Our Staff are friendly, innovative, and have excellent regulatory knowledge from experience of previously working in the regulatory sector as well as industry understanding from years of providing help and advice to support clients for years.
Probe Environmental Services Limited have supported our clients in the waste and industry sectors where they have required specialist advice and guidance. We have a high level of expertise regularly liaise with regulators and stakeholders when supporting our clients businesses to apply Legislation and Guidance requirements and reducing Impacts to clients sites.
Julie is multi-skilled in a number of environmental disciplines including waste management, public / stakeholder liaison, expert witness, permitting, environmental management system (EMS), project management and environmental monitoring and reporting and water quality issues. Julie has the benefit of applying her knowledge of both consultancy and regulatory aspects to her role. Prior to setting up Probe Environmental Services Ltd Julie was within Environmental Consultancy for a number of years and previous to that was a regulator with the Environment Agency (EA). Julie has specialist knowledge of the waste industry and Local Authorities. Julie also has a wide range of experience of environmental management system development, ISO14001 & QA ISO 9001 systems and auditing.
Julie provides liaison for clients with the regulators (Environment Agency (EA), Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) Planning Authority etc.) where compliance and enforcement issues are present on site. Julie has experience in ensuring compliance with permit conditions; varying Environmental Permitting Regulation (EPR) permits, providing technical support, root cause analysis, assistance with compliance issues.
As a WAMITAB holder who provides TCM cover for sites Julie can help with practical everyday advice.
Julie is a qualified WAMITAB assessor for Hazardous Waste treatment and transfer (HR0C6 holder), non-hazardous treatment and transfer (4MPTHH6 holder) and Anaerobic Digestion (assessment).
Kathrine has a valuable breadth of knowledge of Environmental Compliance, permitting and auditing. Kathrine previously worked as a Environment Officer with the Environment Agency and brings with her the regulatory insight to help our clients with regulatory issues.
Kath has project managed a lot of difficult sites and is adapt at public liaison between regulators, site operators and members of the public. Kathrine is our lead on FPP (Fire Prevention Plans) and used to assess submitted plans whilst at the Environment Agency so is well placed to offer help and guidance.
Along with the rest of the team Kath has a passion for dealing with Fly management issues and can help advise on fly management techniques, as well as provision of advice on odour and dust management.
Kathrine has developed Management Systems for clients that are designed to comply with permit requirements and meet the needs of businesses.
Kath is a WAMITAB holder who can provide TCM cover and now is a WAMITAB assessor providing assessment to candidates wishing to become Technically Competent Managers.
